JAPANESE EVENT 'NAGASHI SOMEN'

Japanese event 'Nagashi somen' was held at Village Heights Community Centre on September 11. Somen is one of the Japanese food kind of noodle. Nagashi means to shed. In a word, drain the noodles from the top and then take it with chopsticks in between and eat it.

This event was held some of the volunteer. About 20 people gathered at this event and everyone was having fun. Everyone was the first to use chopsticks, and everyone was able to experience different cultures. We made a river with a plastic bottle that we were supposed to throw away and this event also played the role of recycling.
